About Paul Ouzounov

Paul Ouzounov
Sound Designer | Musician
Hailing from a Central European background, I’ve grown up with a curious perspective of the wide world. A lifetime passion for music, given to me by my father, lead me down a path of touring, writing records, and creating a YouTube channel that has over 2,000,000 views.
Eventually, when the pandemic was in full swing, I decided to I attend the Sound Design for Visual Media Program at Vancouver Film School. My time there gave me a complete education in post-audio, as well as audio for games all the while utilizing the skills from my previous career.
After my time at VFS, I moved to Edmonton, Alberta. I worked as a Foley Mixer with foley artist Chris Szott (MPSE) as well as as a dialogue editor, sound effects editor and re-recording mixer for one of the top Sound Supervisors in Edmonton, Johnny Blerot. It was like a second education for me, and I greatly enjoyed working with them.
During my time in Alberta, I mixed my first short film, “Insert Short Film Title“, and won an award for the sound mix I did. I also started work for an indie game developer (remote) and have been doing so since early 2023.
Nowadays, I’m based in the Netherlands. Along with my own sound design projects, I work as a Foley Mixer for Ronnie van der Veer and Yorick Sedee.
