Paul Ouzounov

Sound Designer | Dialogue Editor

Hailing from an eclectic European background, I’ve grown up with a deep perspective of the wide world. A lifetime passion for music, given to me by my father, lead me down a path of touring, writing records, and becoming highly lauded for my abilities as a musician from my peers and contemporaries.

Eventually, the pandemic struck, and I decided to I attend the Sound Design for Visual Media Program at Vancouver Film School. In a roundabout way, my education there has given me a personally fulfilling path in life, while utilizing my previous career.

In my time at VFS, some of my favourite work was when I created original sound design for video games, as well as recorded talent in the sound booths. It prepared me for my final project, where I recorded actors, did numerous sessions of foley, as well as walla recording. School was a fulfilling, rapid-paced environment that conditioned me to become a better version of myself as a creative, as well as a professional.
